The artist behind Ambe Creations

Welcome to Ambe Creations — where Indian traditional art meets contemporary living. Every piece I create is a bridge between the rich artistic heritage of India and the modern home.

My journey with art began in India, where I grew up surrounded by vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and the timeless beauty of handmade craftsmanship. Clay was my first medium — its earthy warmth and endless possibilities drew me in as a child and never let go.

Today, based in the United States, I continue to practice and evolve these traditional techniques. My work features hand-sculpted clay pieces, intricate mirror work (shisha embroidery traditions translated to decorative art), and designs inspired by centuries of Indian artistry.

My Process

Each piece starts with an idea — often inspired by traditional Indian motifs, festivals, or the natural world. I work primarily with clay, shaping each form by hand. Many pieces incorporate small mirrors, a technique rooted in the folk art traditions of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

After shaping and drying, pieces are carefully painted using non-toxic acrylics, with patterns that honor traditional designs while bringing a fresh, contemporary energy. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Custom Work

I love working on custom pieces. Whether you're looking for a personalized gift, a statement piece for your home, or decorations for a special celebration, I'd be happy to bring your vision to life.
